In 2015, NextRung founder Jake Liddic, General Manager of a national franchise location at the time, was desperate to fill tens of open positions but kept hitting dead ends. The best hires came through word-of-mouth, but that wasn’t scalable.
Instead of waiting, Jake took matters into his own hands. With approval from ownership, he launched a social media-driven recruitment campaign—and within two months, not only was the location fully staffed, but there was a waitlist of qualified candidates ready to step in. The results were undeniable.
What started as a solution for one location quickly proved to be a repeatable, scalable strategy.
